Propane is a colorless and highly flammable gas that is potentially explosive if escaping gas is allowed to accumulate. When combined with enough oxygen, any spark or source of fire can cause an explosion.
This detector will alarm well before Lower Explosive Levels (LEL) are reached. As propane is heavier than air, place this detector close to the trailer floor for safest results.
